Title states all

What is the cheapest plan you can get per month? Is it Metro (like Cain and Ronda say everyone's moving to Metro). Virgin? Bing? What it be?

I know NOTHING about this. Hadn't had a cell phone since 2012. Are there any super cheap prepaid where you can get a new phone with them for free?

Give me info on the best possible cheapest deal please if you can, with detail on why it's any good/what phones you can use

Thanks

I have boost prices start $35 a month with a free phone. I did 45 cause I use a lot of data and spent 99 on an upgraded giant tablet like phone. Love it

www.7-eleven.com/Cards/No-Contract-Wireless/711 has the prepaid phones.

you arent on a monthly plan then. just top off the card and use it until the minutes are used up. you could use it as an emergency phone.

i dont know how long you can keep the minutes. sometimes you have to use them in a 2-3 month period. i think with 711 you can go longer. On the Canadian ones you can go a year on one card. im not sure on the american version.

theres more information on the canadian site

I use Straight Talk for $45/month. I'm sure there's probably cheaper, but it wouldn't be by a whole lot. I was tired of being tied to a contract and it fills my needs nicely. Don't even bother with something like Tracfone. You get so little minutes that's it's really not worth it. I don't know anything about the 7-eleven one that lookout posted.

If you have a friend or family member that already has a plan, they can add you pretty cheap usually. Example, To add a line on T-Mobile is only like $10 and that includes talk, text, and data...... otherwise some good suggestions posted already.
