welded up some frames for LATCH car seat mounts and cut out the back of the dinette in the RV.
I decided to get some 3/4" square tube 11 ga instead of 1" 16 ga after seeing how the 1" fit...and how much I suck at welding thinner gauge metal. ?

Ordered a rod bender, just living my manly life.
Nice beads. I started stick “welding” a little bit ago and I’m terrible. The shit stays together but it looks awful.

Changed my oil and u-joints today.
Had to use the torch to heat them jokers up. Started to rewire the box on the dump truck but got rained out. I fucking hate electrical work and using torches, I don’t trust fire... even gas grills can kiss my ass. Listened/watched the Merab Dishwalla fight on the ride home and now I’m looking for hip waders for our Caribou hunt in Alaska...and I had Elk for dinner. Hopefully I don’t plug the shitter when I’m done with this post.
And I installed the fuel bowl and valve on the old John Deere B I’ve been restoring.

my dad's first job out of HS was welding, so I know what good welds look like.
i know how my dad would react if I showed him that weld.

Hobart Handler. Picked it up on sale from TSC years ago...$500. One of these days I'm going to give a shit about how my welds look or welding thin stuff and put a bottle of C25 on it. I want to get juuuuust good enough at it that I can justify a plasma rig.

Lol. They look good to me but that ain’t saying a lot. Most of the shit I have to weld is for work, stuff like loader/excavator buckets, bedding boxes etc. etc. It ain’t pretty but it works. I really need to practice more. I need more practice.

i can never practice enough to stay good. Because welding sucks after the first 30 minutes... Welded stuff is cool, but welding sucks.

what tractor are you restoring? I've got a soft spot for old tractors.
It’s a 1948 I think, or maybe a 52. I can’t remember. It was my grandpa’s and when I get it up and running good and put the finishing touches of paint I’m gonna trailer it back to Michigan and give it to my Uncle.

I still need to put the decnals on too. I don’t know if I’m gonna put new tires on it. These ones hold air but that’s about it.

Big Dummy @Big Dummy - that's awesome. Looking good and good for you.
I’m hoping to have it done this summer. I’ve been pissing with it in my spare time. I still have to get the carb adjusted and then deal with all the little bullshit after I run it for a day or 2. I just need to take a whole weekend and get it done. There always seems to be something else that needs to be done before I can get to it.

i've got my money out of it, when you remember that a welding shop is going to charge you $100/hr to do anything.

I kind of want the 190,its on sale right now and they have a vet discount. It does aluminum so that's very appealing.
does it do Al with a spooler? Mine came with the spooler as part of a package, only used it once. It works...but I still want a a plasma. :)

Yea it does. It didn't say the one you had works for aluminum. If it did that'd be even better.
i know you can get a spooler for the 210, but not sure if it's included in the "210MVP" - that's the model they sell now.
