Sweet and spicy bacon burger. Add grilled jalapeños. Do the spicy ketchup. Lots of chubby women in there. Enjoy the food and the views. Yours welcome.
That’s my go to burger there. Used to love the Chophouse Cheddar but they took it off the menu.
BTW, OP, Whataburger started in TX but they’re all over the SE. We have at least 3 in Tallahassee, been here for decades.

Never had what burger, or in and out
5 guys is decent
I've never had any of the three.

Around here in the south, people would say Cook Out is better than typical fast food, but I was a manager at one for about 3 months several years ago and will never go back out of pure principle.

Their shakes do kick ass, though.

Yep. Started in Corpus Christie. They sold out to some Chicago company. That is when they started rapidly expanding. Outside of Texas. The quality has gone done but it still a pretty good burger. For fast food anyways.

I mentioned in another thread that I’ve tried two Cook Out locations and found the food mediocre at best. The 40,000 shake flavors is their deal.

Their shakes are good because they use (or at least did when I was there) two different types of cream mix in their ice cream machines. The combination is really good. That and they use actual ingredients. Like if you're getting a cheesecake shake, the cup starts with an actual piece of cheesecake in it, then they put the ice cream mixture.

They use good ingredients, but it does have to be cooked decently. There are no propietary secrets. Slap a burger patty on a grill, cook it, then transfer it to a flat grill to keep it warm. Put it back on the grill for a last second char IIRC. Basic stuff, really.

Fun fact - people rave about their cajun fries. Their just waffle fries with seasoned salt instead of regular salt or any type of actual "cajun" seasoning. lol
