General What the hell happened to the Simpsons

I watched probably the first 7 seasons when they first came out and then my work schedule had me working on Sundays so I stopped. Been working through the whole series from the beginning when I go to bed, up to season 18.

Marge used to support everything Homer did no matter what, now it seems she wants to kill him in every episode. I know they have a slew of different writers but did a feminist take over for marge?

Does it get better or should I stop now.

I watched every week for the first seven years. But starting in Season 8, I thought the quality started to fall. By Season 9, I'd watch if I didn't have anything else going on. After Season 10, if I was flipping the channels, I stopped if I saw it, and probably eight out of 10 times watch only a few minutes before I started zapping through the channels again.

Hard to believe the show has been on 35 years and, at best, 25 of them sucked.
