I can't wait to move somewhere that has a soup season. Because I ate that hot and spicy soup tonight when it is 78F/~25.5C and I was overheated for awhile.Nice I made a chicken and veggie soup a few days ago. I love soup season.
Love black bean sauceMeh. Here is kimchi soup. Every time I make it, it’s even better. I added fresh cabbage, as well, because I didn’t have a lot of kimchi left.

Here is black bean sauce (jjajangmeyon) with jjajang noodles. I used pork belly, but it was too fatty so next time I’ll use a better cut.

Elk is so freaking good, too. My dad has a lot of friends that bring him back elk from hunts and it's always good. We just had elk sausage the other day that his friend's wife made.Love black bean sauce
I make an occasional Elk stir fry with black bean sauce

It was 12 degrees out for most of the day today!I can't wait to move somewhere that has a soup season. Because I ate that hot and spicy soup tonight when it is 78F/~25.5C and I was overheated for awhile.
Did you guys get really bad winds last night, as well? My co-worker in CT said he had wind gusts over 60mph.It was 12 degrees out for most of the day today!
Not terrible where I’m at. Mostly freezing rains the last day or so. Was 55 two days ago. NY weather is a fickle beast.Did you guys get really bad winds last night, as well? My co-worker in CT said he had wind gusts over 60mph.
I used canola for this. I think I'm going to switch to avocado once I finish the stuff I have. I already use it every now and then, and I like it and it has a high smoke point which is good for general cooking.what oil u cook that with?

I don’t like to use avacado oil or lard/tallow too much as they really flavor whatever it is I’m cooking. I’ve had goodness luck with grapeseed oil for things that need a high smoke point. It’s a bit healthier than canola.Nice
I use avocado also for most stuff...pretty amazing properties
Of course it is relatively cheap at costco, and healthier than most oils
The last few weeks we have been experimenting with Lard...Lady's friend at work has a bunch of big pigs, they are the really fatty kind that are bred for Lard...It has good flavor
This is ashamedly one of my favorite breakfasts.

Looks deliciousI also made an egg sandwich for breakfast but I scrambled them. I like to change it up sometimes. I added some spring onion, as well, because I needed to use it. On brioche with mozzarella. I burnt the bread a little but I like it that way so I wasn’t too upset.
