Hanger steak makes good taco meat.
Yes
I found a meat market attached to a nice restaurant that carries all the excess cuts off the really expensive cuts that are served in the fancy restaurant. They sell the meat super cheap and it is really good quality.
All sorts of cuts available that other meat markets here don't carry
Hanger steak
Denver steak
Bavette steak(love it, sucks up all the flavors)
and they sell chicken and lamb parts n pieces priced to move but fresh

Those cuts all cost a premium around here, when you can find them.

Yep
Same here except for this one place attached to restaurant, half price and better quality
Only problem is they only have one or two items per day and it isn't predictable, it rotates so I just check in and see if they have the good steaks that day.

I semi recreated a McDonald's Filet-o-Fish with cod. I went a tad too long on the bottom side. I could make a better fried fish sandwich, but it was still a good lunch. I didn't have any tartar sauce, so I went with ranch. I think I'll go with mayo mixed with sriracha in the future.
