Emeril made his name in Louisiana. I'd probably check out his recipes and/or videos for something legit.
For the LOLZ you can look up Stakecracker's youtube channel. I know I've watched at least one of his gumbo's if not 3.

Pork tenderloin fajitas

Marinated in grapefruit juice, 1 fresh lime, the zest of that lime, and crushed garlic

Black beans

Peppers were Marinated with the pork and cooked together until pork was done at 425 in oven. Pork was then put under the broiler, but peppers were left for a few more minutes in the baking dish at 425 while that happened.

I want to bake a cake for the first time in my life, I don't know what will come of it. Anyway, I think it won't be too awful and edible.

Nice Grub

Beans from scratch?
No, they were canned. I just dolled them up a bit with smashed garlic, salt, and pepper. I've honestly never done beans from scratch. It just seems to take too long. I should try it though since the process can be sped up in the smart pot.

It isn't hard from scratch on stovetop, soak overnight and low heat or something.
I didn't know if you had a fast version in an instapot, I think I read one once.

I don't have a fast version, but since the instant pot is a pressure cooker, I am aware there is an expedited way of doing it, I just haven't ever tried it.

I made the same thing but different manner, crockpot pork tenderloin with brassicas.
No pics :(

I found it really takes thinking everything through to get the pics. Nobody wants to see raw food, but when things are done, especially when you're hungry, the last thing on your mind is taking pics. Once food is digesting the light bulb goes off that maybe I should have taken pics and shared. Story of my life, but from time to time I come through.

I just looked it up. Apparently just over an hour start to finish...don't know if something is missing from texture or flavor.
