So the other thread got me thinking -- where are random people these days?

Darrin Kenneth O'Brien (born October 30, 1969), better known by his stage name Snow, is a Canadian reggae musician. He is best known for his 1992 single "Informer"which debuted on the amazingly named album 12 inches of Snow

Fabrice "Fab" Morvan (born 14 May 1966) is a French singer-songwriter, dancer and model. He was half of the pop duo Milli Vanilli, with Rob Pilatus, selling multi-platinum albums around the world. However, he was later involved in one of the largest scandals in pop music history when it was revealed that neither he nor Pilatus had actually sung on any of Milli Vanilli's recordings. After the scandal, the group reformed as Rob & Fab in the 1990s with limited success.Rob Pilatus encountered a number of personal problems during the production of the new album. He turned to drugs and crime, committing a series of robberies and ultimately serving three months in jail in California. Fab paid for Pilatus to attend six months of drug rehabilitation and plane tickets for him to fly back to Germany. On the eve of the new album's promotional tour on April 2, 1998, Pilatus was found dead of a suspected alcohol and prescription drug overdose in a Frankfurthotel room. Morvan had a solo comeback in the 2000s releasing his first solo album, Love Revolution.

Kris Kross formed in the early 1990s, consisting of James Christopher "Mac Daddy" Kelly and Christopher HE "Daddy Mac" Smith. The duo was best known for their 1992 hit "Jump", which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and certified double platinum as a single. Kris Kross was also noted for their fashion style, which consisted of wearing their clothing backwards.




On May 1, 2013, Chris Kelly was found unresponsive in his Atlanta home. Kelly was pronounced dead around 5 p.m. on the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center; he was 34 years old.[11][12][13] The police report documents his mother's statement that "they had brought Kelly home to recover from his drug use and had done this several times in the past." His uncle told police that Kelly "had an extensive history of drug abuse."[14][15]

F: By the time I started to make money, I was already set in my ways. I saw my mother and my grandmother work check to check and I thought that’s how you lived. I’m not blaming them but I thought, if I work for it, I can get what I want. I was making $25,000 a week but I wasn’t thinking about taxes. I was spending it like it was $25,000, but it was really more like $17,500.


S: I grew up in the music industry. My mother and my grandmother managed my finances and I got used to having someone else do everything for me. When we got married I was so used to having everybody else doing everything I wasn’t paying attention to what was going on with us financially
