Agree 100%, But to be honest I don't think the UFC really wants legit Refs / Judges, they want paid men that will help try sway fights.
There is to much money being thrown around in Vegas.
Example: Vítor "Shaolin" Ribeiro a former fighter transitioned into MMA Reffing and made his debut in the UFC back in April 2015: Machida Vs. Rockhold but how often have you seen him?
He's the perfect Ref - former fighter - knows the game and calls the fights fair ...yet he is M.I.A!
