For whatever reason there are several films I missed growing up that are considered classics. This week I'll watch one of them. Which one should it be?

Bear in mind, I know the basic premise and conclusion of all of these and have seen bits and pieces, but never all the way through.

The Exorcist and Jaws are the 2 best movies on the list imo. However, I am going with The Shining. Afterwards, I recommend going down the rabbit hole of all the wild interpretations and perceived meanings of the film.

^^^originally I thought that too. But the introspective monologs from sheen and The better cast put platoon over the top. And heels...no contest. Barnes would eat jaws.

Had to go with Jaws. I don't know how many times I've seen it but I never tire of it. I think it holds up pretty well too. Obviously the close ups of the shark are cheesy but the rest is great.

I recommend slowly picking away at that list. A lot of great movies on there.

The only one on the list I've never seen Platoon. Speaking of war movies I've never seen Apocalypse Now either.
