Israel Adesanya proved he could withstand a good amount of adversity on Saturday night at UFC 236 by surviving Kelvin Gastelum’s attacks to become the interim middleweight champion. His performance impressed the Atlanta crowd in attendance, including UFC president Dana White.

“I’m sure many of you saw it tonight. Israel’s flashy, Israel’s a good-looking kid, Israel speaks really well. Israel became a star tonight,” White told reporters during his post-fight media scrum.

But just how big of a star is Adensanya in White’s eyes after this win? The UFC exec says he is seeing a similarity between “The Last Stylebender” and the company’s most notable name to…

“They remind me of *insert popular name*” approach? Classic, classic.

Only constructive criticism I have, is possibly don’t relate the guy you want to push, to the current guy whom is having a meltdown.

Besides that, solid showing from Eggman. Jolly good show.

I would totally agree, except one is a double champ with David Schwimmer money and the other just squeaked by a WW with food dependency.

One who has to use food stamps to buy a rib eye steak is no less of a man than another with 2 belts and David Schwimmer money that eats in posh restaurants, then again now that I think about it-- yeah, dick niaz you're right.

This reminds me of someone once saying basically how Conor is on a yacht somewhere living it up and Tony Ferguson is having dinner at Applebee's thinking he's made it basically lol...
