Dana White is out promoting his next pay-per-view offering, and one of the talking points for UFC 246 is how Conor McGregor hasn’t been motivated in recent years after earning over a hundred million already.

“He has been training hard, he has been getting ready for this moment,” White said on the Stephen A. Smith show. “The problem is, Stephen A. you’ve seen this, not just in fighting but in other sports, when a guy has 100 and something million dollars, he’s young, he’s famous and now he is unbelievably rich, it is hard to keep the train on the tracks for some guys. That has definitely been Conor McGregor.”

Funny how there is no footage of him training hard considering how he has the mac life crew following him around for the last 5 years

He’s doing what he can. He tried to get some sparring in with the old man in the bar. He’s also doing lots of grappling with women.

The UFC is gonna give him what they think are the best possible matchups to get him back to a title shot. Cowboy can beat anyone when at his best, but he is also very hitable.

Everybody loves Cowboy but he is 4-6 in his last 10 fights including 2 losses in a row. The UFC is trying to set up some Conor wins.

Conor's too rusty, it'll be interesting to see if he feels any ring rust

Cowboy fought 11 times when Conor fought only once

It is incredible to think how much the UFC has riding on Conor winning and/or continuing to fight if he loses again. Despite all the great fighters and personalities in the promotion, there are no other stars of any reasonable caliber to even fill even one of McGregor’s shoes.

5 of those losses are to guys who have competed for, will likely be competing for soon, or have held world titles. Its not like Ben Saunders who keeps losing to mid carders.

I hate this MUST WIN shit, why can't he just be a fighter like the rest?

We went through this with Ronda and it was so disappointing to see her give up on the sport because she wasn't going to win titles. I wanted to see a bunch of different fights with her involved and same for Conor, just fight ffs win or lose.
