Dana White has said that Conor McGregor wants to fight three times in 2020, and of one which is a fight with Jorge Masvidal for his ‘BMF’ title.
McGregor is scheduled to return to the octagon at UFC 246 on January 18th to fight Donald Cerrone in a welterweight bout. Talking recently to ESPN, the UFC president outlined McGregor’s hopes of getting a fight with Masvidal should a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov not materialise.
“Conor has this idea, too, that if things don’t go his way and he [doesn’t] get the fight [with Khabib], he’ll have had a 170 fight in his pocket again and [is] considering a [Jorge] Masvidal fight,”…
