Who knows car audio?

My rh speaker blew up (stock) so I decided to get a sound system upgrade. Any advice on do a and don't ahead of my appointment next week?

Back in the day I could've built you a nice kit, boxed woofer for the trunk, amp and wired it in to a fancy new deck for you. But I stopped doing that in 1996 ha. Good luck sir on your search! I swapped out the stock deck in my rig to a Pioneer with bluetooth but that was a few years ago. I think focus on what options you want/need/would actually use. Anymore there are a host of options and a lot of it is fluff if you won't actually use it. I'm a big fan of having a bluetooth mic/speaker set up, I'd think most units these days would have that pretty much standard and it's not hard to wire the mic up if it's an option.

Agree on the blue tooth option, great addition. Decide what other features you'd consider a priority and don't pay for something you'll never use or appreciate. Consider adding a back up cam if you get a screen of some sort

I have USB in on mine. Pioneer. I like thats the most. then you dont have to burn new music. You just swap out music on the usb.
