I actually got my black belt from Rickson at one of those seminars.

Nah, I'm just fucking around. I don't know where you find some of this stuff but it's awesome.

my buddy actually got a blue from rickson at one. rolled with rockson too.
That I believe. Partly because I respect you, also because he certainly handed out his fair share of belts. It's the Black Belts that are often humorous.

1989-9-1 BB. By the late eighties Rorion the impressario was riding high, unfortunately He couldn't pull off his biggest spectacle of Rickson vs Tyson.

1989. Over a year into the sale of the "in-action" tape, $53.00(1988)=$107.00(2015), Rorion was doing well enough for full page ads for his seminars.

1991-9-1. In the wake of Rorions revolution, it was interesting listening to the jkd and kenpo quacks put forth their theory's of destruction. Straight blasts, silat pouncing attacks, pak sao to biu jee. While kenpo postulated the Gracies downfall from dances of death, corpulent vengeance, etc, etc, etc.

1994-5-1. Relyson enjoyed a reputation of being even shadier than Rorion. Relyson told a frightening story about getting a lift late one night in the 60's from Helio Vigio, another one of the instructors at the original Gracie Academy, member of the police "death squad", and later a ref in UFC 1. Driving along, Relyson keeps hearing something heavy rolling around in the back of vigios panel van, and asks what's making the noise, Vigio replys it's just some hams He's on His way to drop off. Later Relyson finds out a ham is death squad nomenclature for eviscerated corpses folded in half and wired together prior to being weighted down and sunk in the ocean. YIKES!!
