If so what was it like? I think the first thing I'd do is blast the ropes a handful of times and get some speed going. Maybe have a mat set up outside I could dive onto.

Also what's the height of the top of the cage for Hell in a cell?

Original= 16ft, Current= 20ft

I was involved in a couple matches in high school, but we didn't have the luxury of an actual ring. I'd love to some day go and do a month or whatever at a wrestling school, but it's not super likely at this point. Having said that, you'd probably die trying to run ropes. Being able to do it requires substantially more effort than it looks. Excessive vomiting isn't uncommon for rookies.

You answered one of my follow up questions there, thanks. Running the ropes seems like a lot of fun but you can tell even when the pros don't hit them right. The women always look like they're too small to get any give too.

Any idea how slick the mat is? This ref makes it look easy.

In full clothing you'd probably be able to slide pretty good if you timed it right, but the mat's made of canvas same as those Johnny come lately's in the UFC.

Regrading the ropes themselves, in WWE they're actually rope. In most other promotions they're steel cable with a rubber coating (like the old Pride ropes)
