People in Philly had the same complaint. Reid is the modern day Marty Shottenheimer, just good enough to get close but cant quite get over the last hurdle. What he did thid year turning the Cheifs around from 1-5 is nothing short of amazing though. Especially without Jamal Charles.

They Eagles hired Andy's protege with Pederson. Andys Eagles were a damn good team for a decade and and a half. They used to abuse my Cowboys.

Those 2000's eagles with McNabb and Westbrook and JIm Johnson as DC were scary teams.
I wouldnt call a 5:20 second drive down by 14 with 7 minutes left and 3 timeouts great. They all layed an egg and deserve blame for that. Someone needs to show Alex Smith a replay of what Rodgers did with time running down. That 65 yard pass before the hail mary was a thing of beauty.

I wouldn't put that drive on Andy. Alex is just scared to go down field in my opinion.
Smith is way to worried about interceptions but Reid could have called a timeout from the sideline and lit a fire under their asses. I was just at a party with a bunch of cheifs fans and the way they accept mediocrity is incomprehensible to me. It turned into a decent season for them but its like they expected to lose the game the whole time.

Interesting perspective of Chief fans. That team never really has had a good qb. Sure,they Len Dawson 35 years ago and Cool Joe for a couple years twenty years back. As a Cowboy fan my team has had lots of good qb play. Staubach,Morton,Aikman,Romo,White,Meredith,Longley. You can hate the Boys but you must admit they have had great qb play over the years.
The chiefs use to have a hall of fame defense when Marty was their coach and Trent Green set all kinds of records For them when Vermiel was coach. You just dont 22 years between playoff wins with this fanbase. Also the Chiefs havent drafted a first round qb since the early 80s when they were burned on Todd Blackledge and havent had a win by a qb they drafted in any round since then either.
The chiefs literally have have a 3-13 season before the fans quit going to games and its cold as fuck in that stadium in December. Andy Reid is almost guranteed another 5 years here based on that one playoff win.

Lamar Hunt was a great owner. Clark Hunt isnt bad but he tends to let the team go at times and wont change untill the fans quit showing up.

I'm glad you guys embarrassed the Texans last week. I'm a Cowboys fan in Houston and their fans are mostly just retards that just talk bad about the Cowboys. They hate the Boys more than they like their own team.
