That was the biggest bullshit I've seen since the days of GSP.

Literally all Usman did was take Meek down and hold him there. The most offensive parts of the fight were when Meek was whooping Usman's ass on the feet or fucking him up with elbows from the bottom or from the clinch.

I was so fucking pissed off when Usman kept doing the same grab and hold grab and hold bullshit. Usman won under MMA rules but Meek won the actual fight.

I was looking for the picture of him grimacing while trying to hold Diaz down but I couldn't find it.

I admit I gave up without really trying that hard

I know I'm in the minority, but I find a style vs. style match like this much more compelling than your typical "generic mma guys having a kickboxing spar" that you see a lot.

I thought until the last minute or so there was a chance Meek would escape and Usman would be just gassed enough that he wouldn't be able to get the takedown and would have to fight for his life - and there was also a chance Usman would get past the defense and batter him to a finish. Meek's elbows were also pretty nasty from the bottom.

A lot of times, what looks like lay and pray is largely the guy on the bottom doing anything he can to tie his opponent up and stifle offense in order to survive the round or get a standup.
