I mean look at this terrible head movement:

Against a pinpoint accurate striker with more power (i.e. Conor), T-Ferg would get laid stiff in under 3 mins.

He honestly has a much better chance of beating Khabib. Zero chance against C-Mac.

    Thoughts?

Khabib has worse head movement than Tony and he outstruck Conor.

Nate Diaz fucked Conor up with no camp after a relaxing holiday.

Tony has a great chin and the hunger that Conor lost.

Why do you think Conor is trying to fight Marky Mark? He’s knows he’s done.

Styles make fights. Khabib outstruck because of the TD like Randleman/CroCop or any other "wrestler/striker" matchup.
Tony fights different guys a little differently.
    There's a saying, "That's why they fight".
Well. I'm curious to know how it goes down, and it could go either way, but let's see it.
I'd assume if you're making a thread that it's uncalled for, you might be a sweaty-palmed Conor Mcgregor nuthugger or something.

Tony sets a relentless pace, is tough as they get at LW and as well rounded as they come.

His main strengths play into McGregors weaknesses too, cardio, toughness , grappling.

Mc Gregor would have to fight him like Nate 2 but Tonys footwork is a lot better than Nates. Tall order.

i'd prefer to see Tony v Nate at 165, where both guys have max cardio and chin.

I'd love to see that fight, that could be a foty candidate.
I'm not so sure about 165 though, as Tony has fought at 155 forever; he's not a big LW and he's never missed weight.
165 favors Nate a little more than Tony, regardless, I'm great with that fight anywhere.

youth and concussion protocol favors Tony, so it'd be even.

not in fight years. Nate's been getting whooped by Nate Diaz since he was a toddler.

I don't think I've ever heard of them going at it, not like the Lauzon bros. anyway.

to be fair Lando Vanata was a late replacement, Tony was preparing for Mike Chiesa, but he finished Vannata with the Darce.

Tony's definitely more threat to Khabib than Conor but also to Conor because he has to deal with shit like this

Conor will have hard time trying to time Tony

That's a main event right there. Hopefully the right amount of money could get Nate back to 155 for that fight

He is right , kinda, for all the wrong reasons.

Conor doesn't deserve Tony coming back, Tony has earned his shot at the real belt.

Conor’s striking vs. Tony’s durability/cardio. The fight would either be another showcase for Conor like the Alvarez fight, or it would be a slow bleed where Tony eventually breaks Conor and gets a sub. There are more intriguing matchups for each guy IMO, I would still be happy to watch it.

Commending Tony Ferguson for having better footwork than Nate Diaz is like giving out a "Prettiest Girl in Scotland" award.

I agree, but its the truth, McGregor would have a hard time turning his back and running from Tony.

Tony has brutal leg kicks. If Siver can almost cripple Conor with a single strike then Tony will be able to toy him him.
