Judaism is strict with the Sabbath, "keep shabbat holy", Saturday, the 7th day.

I guess I'm just pointing out that it was a deliberate operation on American culture, particularly suburbs, which was bonded for many if not most through Sunday morning church.
And normalize & familiarize Americans en masse by overrepresenting this group of people 10x late-night to change culture of the country.

I'd never thought about it as an operation before now, which it clearly was.

I've worked with a couple Jews over the years. This profession doesn't allow for any religious set days off so the paycheck must have been worth pissing off God for them to stick around
 
I never got the Shabbat games they play. If you believe in an omniscient God, then he sees right through your bullshit and your failure to follow the spirit of the law. Lot of them burning in the fires of Gehenna if they're right.

My cousin observes like this. He takes the literal meaning of "Do not turn on modern conveniences", so he turns on everything in the house before it starts and that way everything is already on and he can use them because they were turned on earlier and not after the day began. I find it so absolutely stupid. He's a fucking MD for fucks sake, so he's not dumb individual, but when it comes to this you wouldn't think so. God knows what you're doing. Thinking he can get away with it, is more insulting than the act itself.

Ari Shaffir's special, "Jew" goes into that. He was at a kibbutz and realized that he was panicking about having turned a light on in his room during Shabbat not because he feared God, but because he feared the social judgement. He was afraid of peer pressure. At that point he realized he was truthfully an atheist and just conforming.

None of his comedy was ever my thing, but he slammed it out of the park with that special. We all believe goofy shit due to cultural influence, and we all have that in common no matter our heritage. Definitely worth a watch.

Fuck them. Pieces of trash who decided for themselves they rule the world. Just another sick interpretation made by sick people. They weren't taught any of that, they just decided that's what their sick interpretation of what they were taught was. Jews who believe in such things are the same ones who would gatekeep me for not having a Jewish mother. Yes, they do the same sick things to their own people. Yet if there was a 4th Reich having only a Jewish dad would be enough for me to be considered a Jew in their eyes.

I get where you're coming from and there's no reason we couldn't discuss it further like gents. I'd gas those fucks on principle alone and to be fair, that parasitic thinking and conduct seems to be so overwhelmingly commonplace to such a degree that honest jews who've had enough of their own kind and who're willing to say so appear to be as rare as ethnic jews who'd served in the NSDAP but those anomalies have and continue to occur.
