I love Chris and hope he can find a career resurgence, but hearing him call out Jones while he is 1-4 in his last 5 and has not even fought at LHW yet is cringey. It is like Kevin Lee getting his ass beat at 155, going up to 170 only to get his ass beat, then coming back to 155 saying he wants Khabib.

It's like that saying that dipshits always repeat, "reach for the moon and you might land among the stars" (or vice versa, which shows how retarded the saying is). No, if you happen to screw up your moon mission calculations, you're fucking dead.
These fighters think it's 'smart' to make outrageous callouts because they think it keeps their name in the media. But instead they just make embarrassments of themselves and when they next lose a fight, they lose credibility faster and thus fan interest. It hurts their brand, it doesn't help. And if you're willing to lose any self-respect and do degrading things for money, why not just go full Dakota Cochrane and start a gay for pay revenue stream?
That said, this isn't the worst callout ever though. It's cringey, but with the horrible state 205 is in, Weidman legitimately has a chance to get that shot at Jones if he beats Reyes. There's just nobody for Jones to fight.
Easy win for Weidman. The only thing jones has on him is better wrestling, better standup, height, heart, and eye pokes.
