The Bellator debut of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Rafael Lovato Jr. will take place on Friday night at Bellator 174 as he will meet Wayman Carter on the fight card coming from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Lovato Jr. (4-0) recently signed with Bellator after being the Legacy Fighting Championship middleweight champion and three of his four victories have come by submission. His most recent victory came in November at Legacy Fighting Championship 62 as he defeated Bellator veteran Cortez Coleman by submission in the third round to retain the middleweight title.

During the most recent episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Lovato Jr. was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight on Friday against Carter on the preliminary card of Bellator 174 and explained what he wants fans to know about him.

Will catch up on some of his fight when I get out of work

Might catch the prelims for this guy, but seriously not hyped for this weeks Bellator.

Their women's FW title fight is more legit than the UFC's was.

Steve Garcia vs Joe Taimanglo could decide the next BW title contender

Brandon Girtz vs Fernando Gonzalez

Mike Rhodes vs Kendall Grove. Not a Grove fan, but he's never in a boring fight.

Justin Wren fights again. Always cool to see him promote his cause.

I really hope Lovato adopts a Demian Maia strategy and doesn't try to test his striking.
