She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart. She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our Country and killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. I think its the fact that she kind of kept harping on it. Go ahead and feel the way you feel for those people, say your little piece about it, and move on. But she wanted to make some viral point and let her pride ruin whatever message she might have had.

Its pretty common for a church to call out some specific group in a given week. It could be for hurricane victims, some local thing that happened, some known family and an issue they have.
Like I said above though, usually its a quick mention and onto the prayer. No theatrics.
