Would you make Lima/Koreshkov III in the opening round?

I'm hearing rumors from classified sources that this is a sought after opening round'r.
Why?

This bothers me when they don't reward their former champs and long-time talent.

It makes sense to me to go opposite bracket, at the bottom.
Unless you want to oust the best competition to Rory first...

It either needs to be properly seeded (my preferred way) and those guys most likely shouldn't be able to meet until the semis or it should be completely random and names drawn from a hat.

Depends on who they want Rory to face first. My guess is that the 8 guys getting the call to compete are Rory, Lima, Koreshkov, MVP, Daley, Larkin, Fitch, and Ruth. You don't risk MVP vs Daley never happening by matching them with anyone else, and I don't think you match Ruth against anyone but Fitch in the first round.

So that leaves Rory, Lima, Koreshkov, and Larkin. You either have Lima vs Larkin 2 and Rory vs Koreshkov, or Lima vs Koreshkov 3 and Rory vs Larkin.

Which is why I think they start them out completing the trilogy. Larkin, as good as he is, is less a threat to Rory than Lima and Koreshkov are.

If they do it this way, would be stupid as fuck. You got arguably the top 4 best guys all on the same side and the 4 weaker guys on the Page side.

Would be retarded, the semi final fight would be the finale basically, Rory vs Lima Koreskhov winner, switch out Lima to the other side and put Ed Ruth or Fitch in against Koreshkov, that would be more logical.
