Justin Gaethje was the leading earner from this past Saturday's World Series of Fighting 19 card, pocketing $60,000 for his electric main event win overLuis Palomino, according to information released to MMAFighting.com by the Arizona Boxing & MMA Commission.

Gaethje, an undefeated 26-year-old and WSOF's reigning lightweight champion, defended his belt with a wild third-round TKO finish after a back and forth brawl with fellow free-swinger Luis Palomino in front of his hometown fans in Phoenix, AZ. Palomino earned $11,000 in the losing effort.....

WSOF aren't swimming in money and that guy probably gets less on the local circuit. MMA fighters really need some legislation to protect them though.
