I haven't been a regular watcher since 2004 or so, but usually when I flip it on they're in the middle of some cheesy segment, or some bum is butchering an awful promo.

Its overly scripted & rarely makes sense
They have about 30 writers, but Vince micro manages everything
Becky said on a podcast that she told Vince it made no sense for her to say the fans were not behind her, but Vince insisted.
The issue with WWE is Vince thinks his audience are idiots

That's a shame. Didn't they have some of their greatest success when they let guys truly develop and work their character themselves?

I guess I've been spoiled by the guys who can really rock the mic and deliver riveting promos. I flip on WWE every once and awhile an inevitably think "who the hell decided to give this person a mic and promo time?" Some of those guys and gals are just cringe inducing.
