This was on the back of a paper I bought this morning - don't know if you all discussed it already:

They are talking two sox home games, possibly June 29-30.

Without the Cubbernaughts involved, no one gives a shit. And fuck England. Not a single reason to travel there to play a game.

You shut your cakehole, fucknuckle.
Ok. Let's flip it. Do you know how many people I know who would give a single fuck if Man U was playing Arsenal in Soldier Field.

Zero.

I think it's totally stupid to play games overseas or in Mexico City. Players complain about travelling to the East coast from LA or Seattle, now let's go to London? Retarded. Mexico City, see Cain v. Werdum.

Soldier Field - Wikipedia

Only one of the most historic stadiums in the history of sport.

No idea. I was just reaching for 2 soccer teams I could name.
Soldier field

Where Troy Aikman made all of Chicago cry, lol......walked in and dealt with the sissy’s

I think that’s when they decided to tear down that shithole

First: It still stands. Second: if there is a stadium here that should be imploded its Wrigley.

Edit: I say that as a Cubs fan.

Are you coming over if that happens?
Lol no. My family can't afford stuff like that right now.

I remember years ago when I wanted to take my dad to a Yankee home game for Father's Day...looked at the prices, took him to a Cyclones game. We were happy anyway, because I was a huge Cyclones fan those first few seasons (although I did think the Sweat Hogs was a better name), and I had rubbed off on my dad by then.

Nice thing about Coney Island, we got seats behind home plate that day, but even bleacher seats in the outfield were good seats in that stadium. Good memories.

I think those Premier League teams sell the shit out of whatever stadium they go to over here. I don't care much for it either, but the popularity is growing.

That would be interesting.

I wonder if the Brits would look at a game of Baseball like I look at a game of cricket when it happens to be on TV at 3 AM. My general reaction is "What the hell are they doing?". Whenever I watch cricket, I'm always reminded of Kevin Bacon's "Thank you sir, may I have another?!?!" scene from Animal House.
