People who say "on accident" instead of "by accident" it sounds so fucking wrong to my ears. I understand how it became a thing, you say "on purpose" so why not "on accident"?!

Well you're saying the equivalent of "mistakenly". Which one sounds less retarded:
1) I did it on mistake.
2) I did it by mistake.

Don't come to SC, I hear that so often I started to think I might be wrong. "I cut the light off on accident" (*shivers)

Are you a transmission? No, you're not. You don't have gears to grind.

I hate the phrase "The early bird gets the worm"
Which also means "The early worm gets eaten alive"

And yes, the 2nd mouse gets the cheese.

I use "We're burning daylight" all the time. I'm sure it annoys people.

This will sound horrible but here goes. Completed instead of committed suicide.

For example,

I remember the day my friend completed suicide.

I've read that 'committed' was used because it used to be a crime to kill yourself (which in itself is absurd considering that there's no way to punish you) so some people have decided 'committed' is offensive and the precursor to suicide must be changed. Changing the word will not change the outcome.

Yeah I know that's a whole nother issue
“Of course, supposably is technically a word—an adverb derived from supposable, which means capable of being supposed, which is significantly different from the meaning of supposed—but we can find no recent examples of the word used in this sense.”Sep 23, 2015

I'm learning alot hear.

Alotta these things are regional and/or handed down.
Supposably rides me insane.
But I'd never thunk about "on accident".
Well of course if I thunk about it it doesn't make no scents.
I will change my ways their.
Is their something wrong with mistakenly to?

And what the hell is "burning daylight" referring too?

The early bird does get the worm, so I don't see a problem they're.

Anywho, two meece fell into a tub of cream. The first one drowned, but the second won ran and ran until he churned that cream into butter, and he climbed out.
Isn't that beautiful?
That one of those meece had the gumption to be so diligent?

People who overcorrect themselves (or even others) to "she/he and I" when the correct way to say it is "her/him and me" or "me and her/him".

People who don't understand the difference between "amount" and "number".

People who overuse commas. They're just written pauses, you idiots. Stop making shit more confusing than it needs to be.

The older I get, the more pissed I get when someone interrupts me mid sentence to make their point. It seems to happen more and more nowadays. Are there more pricks in the world than in years past, or am I just a grumpy old fuck?
