Use that every day. I found it at work and it's the greatest tool ever.

This is the rest of the shit I have in my pocket. Everyone else has a tool kit but I just use they stuff when I need it.

It must be noted that work provides the multimeter. It has to be calibrated on site, so I left mine in the uk. I did find a 10mm ratchet spanner other day but I left it somewhere and it's gone

i've been looking for a new EDC knife, something to fit in the front pocket.
I miss my Kershaw Intellect, anybody see a good Prime Day deal?

mysticmac @mysticmac

got my Leek today, it's the carbon fiber scales and liner lock.
for now I'm carrying it with the blade lock engaged, not sure how I'll like it.

but appreciate the tip, when I looked at it online it looked 'delicate'. But it's a perfect pocket-blade for front/fifth pocket.

This guy is over a decade old. AFAIK, they didn't even make different models of it at the time I bought it.

maybe a civivi hooligan or elementum but I dont remember if those are frame locks only the elementum is a flipper those cost like 50 something bucks they come in D2 steel iirc. a R.A.T II is compact AF and that comes in D2 steel for like 38 bucks maybe I have the cheaper aus 8 version basically means you just have to sharpen it more. sometimes walmart will have spyderco persistence or the larger "tenacious" version knives for like maybe 25 bucks they sell them at walmart when they are on clearance.

During my Christmas shopping I decided to order myself a new knife. While I really like my Kershaw Emerson as a functional EDC, I have been itching to add a karambit blade to my collection. I went with this model from Fox and I could not be more pleased. The craftsmanship, the feel, and the size are all perfect for me and it came razor sharp out of the box. While I’ll have more uses for my Kershaw Emerson, I will likely be carrying this Fox Karambit 478 often.

im a fan of the frame locks I don't carry a knife with a blade over 3" not for legal reasons I just don't need to carry a heavier knife when 3" gets most edc tasks done for me. ideally a 2.75" is best to carry around for me like my spyderco persistence or my sanrenmu 7010.

that is a big ass knife
The shape of it is perfect. 4 inch blade, generous sized handle but it's got a really small profile. I honestly don't even notice I'm carrying it. Unlike most EDC knives it's actually useful.
