I am a striker at heart. But have learned quite a few throws along the way in BJJ and judo, yet I really only use 4.

-Standard Greco Roman hip toss. Simple, and to the point.

-Uchi Mata. I can get you to the ground with it, but it's basically a coin flip on whether or not I maintain dominant position.

Ura Nage. I don't go full suplex mode, just more of a back leg trip. But I know I will end in side mount.

Osoto Gari. My friends that got me into BJJ, it was there go to in any situation. It then became mine as well.

Sloppy head and arm throws

I never learned the names of the judo throws or even the throws for that matter. Takedowns is definately not my strength but im totally happy with defending against takedowns or working guard but i hate getting tossed

First time i ever grappled a judo guy i had seen him previously wrestling at the gym with some college team in a singlet and shoes and saw later he was a white belt in bjj so i thought i would handle him without much issue. As soon as he touched me i was upside down and so high up all i was thinking is my feet are going to break the lights. This dude trained judo too

So keep at it judokas and know i will strike or buttscoot the second i think you do judo

Top on an issueopp leg uchi Mata

Second one is a foot sweet Harai Ashi or something like that

There is nothing like a great tai o toshi. So hard to do well, requires misdirection and perfect form

didn't know there was a name for all of them, sounds like all Judo throws

I thought it would be something like,

"Bear training strong oblique muscle throw"

"Jon Jones condescending trip throw"

"DC's journey to the center of Earth power slam"

Double leg pick up

I also like sumi gaeshi and variations on tomoenage.

Double leg pick up in a Judo match?

what are sumi and tomo?
I have done, before leg grabs were banned. And if course, I've used it in MMA and BJJ.

Sumi gaeshi:

Tomoenage ("the one where you boot them in the guts first" as my mate used to say) :

it reminds me of this Street Fighter throw

closest in UFC I've seen was when TKZ vs Poierer, when Poierer charged and shoots, Zombie sprawl, grab, and just rolls
