to be honest, i struggle to empathize with villains. i think i get really vested into the "good guys" or the innocents, and i literally fuckin HATE the villains. ill try to think of some...

but joker (played by the knights tale dude), bc it was SO well done (i didnt recognize it as Heath and didnt even know Heath had passed away until after i was at work raving about his performance)
darth maul (because i loved his fighting ability),
and Saruman (as a legacy status for the first "bad guy" i can recall hating)

Lol. I'm coming around, but very slowly. As a kid, I couldn't even understand how my brother could like Bubba fett.
He associated with the bad guys. In my eyes, he deserved to die lol
But I'm starting to come around to gray characters in fiction. I dunno if they will ever be able to take the place of the idealistic heroes, but the r definitely allowed on my team now
At Rogue one, it literally shocked me that the special were darth Vader glasses and a death star popcorn ball instead of good options. Like maybe little anikans pilot goggles for the 3D glasses
