I have. It's apparent by your evasive, rhetoric filled posts you haven't. Good day to you, sir.
LOL!

Yes, you are the only one who has the current understanding of the economic issues in Canada.

Quickly! To Ottawa with you! You're needed!

LOL @ any of you who think that any current party is better suited to run the country right now than the Conservatives.

How about you dirty whiny hippies go take a bath, put on some clean clothes, and understand that raising taxes does not create a fertile economy.
Baths are awesome. Best place to read.

Look, I know we started off on the wrong foot. I'll pick you up on the way and we can make a vacation out of it.

We've all been waiting for the cat/beard political road trip movie.

It's a classic buddy movie. Here's the dialogue from the trailer.

"He's a straight laced, right wing, cat. He's a dirty, hippy, beard. They're the original odd couple. Together they're crossing the country on an adventure for the ages, and by the time they make it to a polling station they might just see that they aren't quite as different as they thought. They might not have it all together, but they just might realize that together they have it all..."

Hahahah! Awwww.

One's got claws out for the left. One's got dreams of abrading Robbie Lawler. And over the course of one week, they'll both discover that Harper and hippie just aren't that far apart in the Canadian dictionary.

A Vancouver voter has taken to social media to warn Canadians about possible vote fraud after receiving a ballot pre-marked for the Conservatives today during advanced voting for the federal election.

“To all Canadians: I went to vote today in early voting, and noticed that my ballot had been pre-marked, with what looked like black streaks, in the ‘circle’ where you mark your X,” Chris Quarrie posted on Facebook. “I showed the election officials and they were concerned.”

“They threw it out as a spoiled ballot,” he added. “I got another ballot, and it was marked as well, in the same way = a second spoiled ballot (Incidentally, one ballet was marked beside the Conservative candidate, and one beside the Green candidate). I finally got one that was clean.”

“Please make sure your vote counts!” the schoolteacher urged Canadians. “Ask for a clean, unmarked ballot.”

The pre-marked ballots were discovered at West Point Grey United Church in the Vancouver Quadra riding, where Conservative Blair Lockhart is locked in a tight battle against Liberal incumbent Joyce Murray.

Mr. Quarrie’s post has been shared nearly 20,000 times amid widespread fears that Stephen Harper will resort to electoral fraud to cling to power as the Conservative Party of Canada has been convicted of criminally cheating at the last three elections.

The Tories pleaded guilty to the “in and out” Scandal in 2006 while Stephen Harper’s ethics spokesperson and Peterborough MP Dean Del Mastro was jailed for electoral overspending and fraud that took place during the 2008 election.

Conservative staffer Michael Sona was jailed over the 2011 Robofraud 2011 Canadian federal election voter suppression scandal.

The not-for-profit Council of Canadians last week launched VoteWatch, a service to report voter suppression Canadians may experience or witness.

“We’re asking voters to be vigilant, given the fraudulent robocalls that marred the last general election and the changes to voter identification requirements,” Garry Neil, Executive Director of the Council of Canadians, said. “If someone tries to stop you from voting or you can’t vote because of the new ID requirements, let us know.”

Meanwhile, international organizations are sending teams to Canada to monitor and assess Canada’s electoral process, especially the impacts of Fair Elections Act and widespread vote suppression tactics adopted by the Conservatives.

Got it for my birthday last year! It is the best.
Nice! E-reading is super fun. So lightweight, the ability to bookmark, search for specific words and have tons of books on file. I find it tough to go back to paper now.

Did you install the night mode plug in?

I find it easier on the eyes for night time reading than the white background.

No! I'll have to do that. I just had the brightness set super low but that looks better.

I love it too. It's a delight to use, the content is flexible, and it's so comfortable, especially for reading long books. And to take on trips, or just to store books without going hoardy in real life. I sound like such a shill right now but every reader should own one.

I agree I think everyone should have them too. Great features and saves paper too. You can close the cover and then open it back up right to the page where you left off on multiple books. They should use this technology in colleges so students dont have to pay so much for books. We are both ebook shilling right now heh.

I like the large screen size too on ours compared to the smaller e-readers. But i guess some people like them really small and fit in their pocket.

How is the H2O web browser? The Aura HD was still in the beta section. It flashes a lot but gets the job done.

That textbook thing is an awesome idea. Justin or Tom should add it to their last-minute platform. I hated spending $80 for a pamphlet and $250 on an astronomy text.

I haven't actually used the web browser on it because I have a Sony Xperia waterproof tablet too :oops:. Maybe I'm the sea creature. I hear it's pretty solid though, my brother said it's an improvement.

You are the Poseidon of e-readers! :anchor:

If you snack in there too and have a fork that could be your Trident.

maybe get those LED candles with a remote to set the mood around the tub when you read too!

this thread has been officially derailed by our bath time reading conversation! :bath::books::sweatdrops:
Yeah sorry Canadian voters looking for candidate info! You get a movie about the unlikely friendship between a cat and a beard and a public service announcement brought to you by Kobo.

I mean seems about even actually

I think we can both agree that what this country needs is a Prime Minister that will read with a Kobo H2O in the water.

Some food for thought before you guys and hals vote. Harpers Conservatives have been caught cheating in every election they've won.

Yeah, no other party has people within them that skirt the rules.

Wait, the NDP owes over 2.5 million and now closer to 4 million dollars for abusing parliament hill resources for their union buddies. They allowed the use of space, computers, phone lines, office supplies and more all at the expense of the tax payer for something that we would get nothing out of. On top of that they are forcing the tax payer to take them to court to re-pay us! The Board of Internal Economy that oversees the use of Parliament resources has rules that state “A member may not use funds, goods, services and premises provided by the House of Commons for the benefit for any person, association or organization”. (Section 7.2) This is not over spending on your election with your own funds, this is direct theft of public service and monies. But if you want to talk robo-calls the NDP's Paul Dewar got convicted and fines for the use of them in the last election.

Wait, Trudeau, while an MP charges charities and public school boards to appear and speak. He's an elected official! He should be doing these for free. FFS, we pay money in taxes to pay him and then he takes money we pay in taxes for schools and takes that too? He thinks it's going to be ok to raid the CPP and use it to pay for infrastructure and try to spend his way into prosperity. Never mind the fact that this is like standing in a bucket and then trying to lift yourself up by the handle but pension plans exist for the benefit of the pensioners, not for governments in search of cheap and easy capital pools. But before Trudeau the libs under Chretien were only too happy to illegally give money to their liberal support booster firms in an ad scandal that saw 2 million awarded in contracts without a proper bidding system, $250,000 of which was added to one contract price for no additional work, and $1.5 million was awarded for work that was never done! The Commission investigating found that a number of rules in the Financial Administration act were broken.

Face it. The Cons legal issues are simply the result of individuals in the party who thought they were above the law and when they got caught they got tossed out. Harper has never been directly implicated in any of these issues and has acted appropriately when they have been discovered. Unlike Mulcair who had direct involvement with theft of services and Trudeau who double dips and takes your money.
