I don't even know how to convey my feelings in words. She makes me want to just start kicking toddlers, I mean Grandmas, I mean trees....

rizin should fire her. she gets a total gimme fight vs an old ass woman who hasnt fought in 17 years and she out weighs by 75 lbs and she still finds a way to fuck it up. im all for a freakshow but jesus h christ even i have limits. gabi doesnt deserve to earn a living as a fighter if she cant engage in a fair fight

Shes a probable steroid user and misses weight when fighting grandmas.

Pretty fucked up that she even calls herself a mma fighter due to the height and weight and age disparitys in nearly all her fights. She fought a black chick who even tho was outmatched skillwise was still not a freakshow. Gabi soccer kicking a grannie is BS. I know japan is wild but gabi is just a fat bjj girl that got on the juice

I love me a freakshow. But leave the elderly Japanese alone!

If only she got in shape the old fashioned way by dieting etc.

I wonder how tiny she would have been.

That whole thing with her apologizing was atrocious. I hated watching it. I'm all for shaming a fighter for screwing up but making her get on her knees to beg forgiveness from the fans...that's a bit much even by my standards. I'm even somewhat hardcore about my ideas for penalizing fighters, including wishing that fighters that withdraw from a fight due to a bad weight cut the day before the fight should be counted as a DQ or TKO (Forfeit) loss on their record.

Over/under this was an old fashioned Takadaesque work ...japan loves freakshow fights but certainly they wouldn't toss an old lady into the Ring with a juiced up amazon warrior princess.

Yeah that was just painful to watch, and right after Rizin earned points with me for actually cancelling the match too.

If Rizin's gonna keep Gabi under contract (which I assume they will if they asked her to do that shit), the best "punishment" would be to stop protecting her and find her some credible opponents. There are actually a few large women who wouldn't be mismatches and might give her a rough night, like Jozette Cotton and Sarah Patterson. Right now, the Gabi Garcia experiment is rapidly falling apart. If she's not gonna be professional, at least try and show that she's credible with who she gets booked to fight. If she loses, she was gonna get exposed at some point anyway. If she wins, maybe she can redeem both herself a bit and not be a running joke. Otherwise I don't wanna see her in MMA, and certainly not on a relatively big stage like Rizin.

With regard to having her apologise, guys, you may or may not agree with how the Japanese do things but it IS a Japanese organization, isn't it? Japanese culture involves bowing -consider what that means.

takada should have demanded that she cut her pinky finger off for disrespecting the organization
