Usman is being modest.

I have it on good authority from members of his camp that he was actually 26.66 reoccurring percent.

Uh, because you're pissed the Saints lost??
Nah fuck the Saints. Who gives a shit about those half French bastards anyway, amirite?

I was pissed that Usman was stalling and that the referee wasn't standing the action up.

I honestly don't think I've been that triggered since Jon Snow was killed.

Probably a smart move. I would have just posted the striking stats from the fight.

So you musta had a big ol chub when Snow was resurrected ... anyway, Snoozeman's, I mean Usman's style is not exactly exciting, but against anyone with crappy takedown defense or without a slick BJJ game off their back, it's effective. What gets me is how bitter the guy is, calling Meek a "so-called Viking" and the whole "I was only fighting at 30%" thing.

Pissed me off too. It says a ton when someone postures up in guard to land some last 10 secind ground n pound, takes one hammerfist from the bottom, then instantly hold again.

Now one could argue that it was 30% Usman, but 70% Hendricks including enhancement(assuming the drugs added 40% to his) could at least take GSP to the limit then coast the 5th. Adding 40% to Usman’s performance, compared to what Hendricks could do at 70%, implies 40% couldn’t really do much.

Logic and math. Logic and math.

I had a week-long erection. Not even joking.

The fake shit about "I took the fight because I wanted to give Meek a fight against a top 10 opponent annoyed me, too. It's like, dude, stop with the bullshit. No one fights injured because they care about their opponent's career, they do it because they need the paycheck.

Regarding Meek, the thing is with him that his TDD really isn't that bad. Remember he was the one who elbowed Paul Harris into a living death when Rousimar shot for a single leg. Problem with this last fight is that Usman is just really, really good at scoring those wrestling-style takedowns and then maintaining top control. But like I said in the Fight Night thread, Meek wins that fight with a few small tweaks to his game imo.

The fight was correctly scored 30-27 by all three judges. I'm not denying that. But do you not think there should have been a few stand-ups, especially in the 2nd and 3rd rounds? Say what you will about BJM, I don't think he would have allowed Usman to utilize lay n pray the way he did.

I completely agree, but to be fair to the ref, Meek would occasionally, if not the majority of time, be working a kimura attempt. Or at the very least be holding that position. Ref may be hesitant to stand them up with what appears to be a submission attempt.

Then again I was bitching a majority of the time watching it, ref could’ve been warning him and didn’t notice. I would rewatch it for confirmation, but ya know.
