I am into: ski jumping (my family is rooting for Stoch (PL)), alpine skiing ( that is so thrilling), and figure skating (as a kid, i always dreamed about those costumes).
what do you recommend? I am gonna guess: snowboarding and freestyle skiing? Am I way off?
technically, you'd think id be into snowboarding since thats arguably my favorite sport. but i dont watch too many sports. bad attention span. soccer for example. i love it when i watch it, but its rare. i pretty much only watch MMA regularly

so im attracted to random sports for random and sometimes subconscious reasons im sure. my mother likes curling, so i probably like that since it reminds me of her. or i can picture her happy watching it even if im not with her

i LOVE short track speed skating, but im interested in seeing if i still enjoy it. i may have just been into the marketing behind apollo ono

im not into skeleton, luge, or bobsled for various reasons. its a race vs the clock instead of side by side like track. and also, its incredibly dangerous. it freaks me out

i loved figure skating as a kid, but no anymore. but i used to and still love alpine.... bc i LOVE speed =)

I like Biatholon I have jogged and shot 22 at targets and that is super tough....I call it dryatholon

I jog mile shoot...jog mile shoot...control breathing is key
thats sounds pretty awesome. do u run a loop or do you carry the 22 with u? bc if ur carrying it, i wonder if that causes imbalances long-term bc ur body makes adjustments for it, or you dont let your arms move freely yadda yadaa

thats not speed lol. in theory, i consider how i ride (snowboard) "speedy"... some classify it as reckless tho lol. but thats why im not going this year. i need to get a doctor to rebreak my shoulder and then let it recover before i go out there again. bc i cant trust myself to not do something stupid 30 seconds into my first run

i didnt have insurance. bc i had quit my job, and forgot to buy insurance in 2016. the window was opening up in a couple weeks for 2017, but i stupidly went to the mnt and broke it on the first run. so i just laid in bed for 3 days until it started to fuse back together lol

As a very young kid (4yo), i used to ski (was quite good at it) i stopped around 9. Then when i was 17 i broke my thumb in Wisconsin when i did not make a proper 90 degree turn ...apparently i forgot how to make that turn safely ( stupid of me to listen to my then boyfriendo_O, current husband;) of few decades) The thumb still has different range of motion than my other one
Have it checked out whenever you get a chance. I hope it does not ache anymore.

my X and i* (sorry mom)
ooo you did not just go there:p this is my biggest grammar "ocd" :D:D it comes from working with AVPs and directors who did not know how to use those words correctly... that always ticked me off because i would listen to their presentations as they spoke state wide, and as i read their legal documents with that language (i was editing and proofreading their stuff, if felt like my eyes were bleeding after reading so many things that were off)
:D:rolleyes: i thought you had it right the first time: "with me and my x" (when you split the two, "with me" makes sense as opposed to "with I").
"My x and I were in bed" and "in bed with me and my x" ;) The moment my kids say it incorrectly, poor things took at me and self correct . gosh i get hives when they say it incorrectlyo_O:D and they sometimes say it to just make fun of me:leftright:.

following in the footsteps of Stannis and Davos
