Passive Jay @Passive Jay I dunno how well versed you are in chilli, but it will taste better tomorrow. It's like the flavor has more time to get in there.

I'm going to make a batch this sunday, I am going to sneak some dried chilli peppers in from this past summer, wife be damned.

OP get that cup of water the fuck out of there. Use a beer or some stock instead and will get much better results. That cup of water actually upsets me!

I married the whitest woman ever. The chili I'll be making Sunday will be a hard mild.

Ask a Mexican chica to make you some chilli.

They don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Chilli is Tex Mex. Them damn Mexicans don't know what it is. They will likely come back with an apple dipped in Tabasco or something

My wife is Asian but wont eat any peppers but Bell peppers and it is very frustrating. I have "Forgotten" a few times and put hot peppers in certain dishes and she handled it well, so it is BS!!

Well I wont get into the merits of "Good" beer lol because I will get flamed for sure.

But the best results I have ever had was with an apricot beer, (I would never drink that but it works great in chili surprisingly).

But yeah I have used Bud Light before. Experiment and go with a heavier, tastier beer so that it really bolsters the chili.

My wife is all ginger. A little heavy on black pepper or chili powder and she's on fire.
