porch pirates are the worst.

I have only had one package stolen by them,luckily.

it was a 25 dollar beanie.

Yeah, that's what really made me laugh. You have to be really desperate to go back and steal them after that.

The best part is that they will 100% get caught, the first thing the police will do is check their descriptions with anyone that went to the ER for a fractured leg. By getting out of the car he gave up his Identity most likely and by going back on camera to steal the packages himself he most likely just added another, more serious charge lol.

It is hard to tell from the footage but there doesn't seem to be anything that would be obviously negligent or dangerous about the property. Criminals can sue but are afforded the lowest level of due care under the Occupier's Liability Act so lets hope for a happy ending here where she is shit out of luck.

I honestly think we should be allowed to booby trap our houses under certain circumstances.

best part is if he leaves package, it is only attempted theft

Hopefully someone will find and post the follow-up story of their sentencing. BTW I hate seeing people break limbs, it's one of things I can't actually watch but I figured this was a feel-good-story too good to pass up to my TMMAC brothers.

Yeah, don't worry about your wife/GF/mate or whatever. There could have been a shitton of Tampax or something in there completely unnecessary to his requirements but fuck her broken leg. He wants the Tampax more.

"The Snohom County Sheriff's Office said both suspects were arrested on theft charges early Tuesday morning. Their identities have not been made public.

The Bothell homeowners say theft has happened to them before, so they set up precautions to protect their packages. They get text alerts from UPS and installed the camera system that captured this incident.

The homeowner is frustrated by the loss and says one box contained a special medication. Insurance pays for some of it, but it doesn't cover replacements.

The homeowner says it’s worth more than $5,000 and he doesn't feel any sympathy for the woman who fell."

Stealing someone medication deserves a fucking beating. My sister's meds are $7000 a month, covered by insurance, if she were in this situation where replacements were not covered I would go ape shit. These porch pirates are a special sort of loser.
