Thing is the year of growth did not even have anything to do wtih him. Trumps economic policy did not even take into effect until october november lol. All that growth in the spring and summer was based on the previous. Here we are like 2 months into Trumps plan, and already the market is shitting out.

They are entrenched after 8 years of power and making it more difficult for Trump than they ever would've done for Hillary, it's not like each president gets to start with a fresh slate, and Trump spent much of his first year rolling back Obama's "legacy" and is continuing to do so. It's a rough deal, and still they conspire against him hoping to keep their hands on every asset they can. Trump may well prove to be one of the worst presidents, but right now he's running circles around those attacking him and still he makes progress. There is nothing he can do from this point forward that won't be met with resistance AND have others using the situation to further their own causes, so he just has to get on with it and let them play their games as he dismantles their power bases piece by piece. If he makes it through the first term I see him running unopposed ... but 3 years is a long time

It is not tumbling because Trump is rolling out his ideas and they are failing, he is being blocked at every turn and the investors have reacted by acknowledging the instability of that "relationship".
