I do agree that blaming a nutritionist for a loss is bullshit. She is a pro and knows what she needs to do and what weight she needs to be at during benchmarks of the camp. She was overweight and had to cut too much water. Thats on her. Unless the nutritionist was shoving chocolate cake in her mouth, I don't buy it.

Joanna's just a gamer. When people make excuses in the media, it's because people tell them to. Sometimes it's an agent. Sometimes it's Dana. It's because preserving an aura of invincibility except through outside conditions is perceived as a way to get media talking about you and building speculative storylines of "this time will be different." Couple that with the psychology of fighters who are told repeatedly that if you do everything correctly you win and you get a population that is already primed to perform hyperconfidence. The bitchiness is certainly getting me more interested in the match up I must be honest. I have been hoodwinked into believing this fight is an actual grudge match, when let's face it it really isnt. They had no anamosity the first time around.

I think its more that people don't like feeling they got duped
JJ was cool then turned into the fighter we saw last. That
was very different from the original JJ and people don't
like feeling they were suckered

Just my opinion though. I'll still root for JJ as long as she fights anyone not named Rose

Day one was way back in Strikeforce but yeah she was always a heel
In the beggining it was a fun likeable kinda heel then quickly turned into
a much more dark character that people started to quickly hate
