Shortly after the completion of his doping hearing with the California State Athletic Commission, where he was fined $205k and had his fighting license revoked, Jon Jones took to Twitter to release a brief statement.

Damn he has his license revoked. So he is out indefinitely?

He can reapply in August, but they're waiting to see what USADA does. Second time offender, so it's not looking good.

Now we need to let the detailz of the court case trickle down so that we can speculate on what USADA will do. They threw a maximum penalty at someone not long ago who got caught lying. If Jones was caught lying that could mean 4 yearz suspension. If not... then who knowz... but the length of Jones' last suspension obviously didn't work... so we'll have to assume it's going to be longer this time.

A lot dependz on the detailz though. We'll be getting the info on the detailz shortly I would imagine.

Jones could be the dumbest athlete ever. Imagine being the best pretty much undefeated and just being a moron and fucking up at every turn. Literally he lost his prime years. Could be making tons of cash breaking records being the man, instead he wasted it all.

This hearing was a disaster. Everyone thinks CSAC just did nothing. I don't see that at
all. If they wanted to do nothing they woulda just suspended him until he's done with USADA
and it woulda been an automatic reinstatement.

They did the opposite.

They point blank told them he had to come back and "prove" to them
he has made changes and also told his ass he needed to change management.

They are not playing with Jon. Sorry

Jon is not getting his license back with the same team around him. They made that very clear

I agree it was more than a slap on the wrist. As far as his management, I think it was a strong suggestion, but do you think they would base his reinstatement on whether or not he continues to have the Kawa brother manage him?

I think they might be able to remove Kawa's ability to represent athletes in CA. Didn't it seem like one of the commissions was able to do that with Ali with the whole wsof conflict?

Maybe not Malki alone but what I heard was that they saw no significant
changes and they wanted to revoke his license so he would have to come back
and actually show significant changes.

Whatever the changes they were looking for they did not see his current team
as adequate. I read that as they wanna see some firings and real changes in his team

They pressed him repeatedly to state real changes he had made and he made none
To get his shit back he is gonna have to make some

EDIT: At one point one of the women on the panel said plainly that she
was concerned his team was enabling him. He's gonna have to fire some folks

they basically hit him with the statutory maximum.

the relationship between USADA and CSAC indicates that USADA is coming with "Did you 'forged', Mr. Jones?"

He's gotta get a smarter team around him. The commission was right to
suggest he get new management. They just don't get it.

In case someone on his team is reading this I'll reiterate what just transpired...

You dumb fucks just admitted at a State hearing that you forged
official USADA doping documents and not only that but you did it for years.

Was it mandatory for him to testify? If not, his lawyer should have his fucking head examined letting that dolt get in front of a mic for intense questioning.
If it was mandatory, he should have pulled a Diaz and pled the fifth for every question! There’s no way it could have been any worse.
