Putting aside the retards who think ALL guns should be banned, what do we hear most from the gun grabbers?

"A shotgun, rifle of handgun is sufficient for self defence. You can have those, but why do you need an AR?"

But then these gun grabbers and the liberal media (MSNBC, CNN) go on and talk about how USELESS regular guns are against an AR because the bullets go SO MUCH FASTER and they're so big and scary and powerful.

Well gee whiz, I thought having a handgun or shotgun was more than enough to defend myself? But now you're telling me if a thug comes into my home with an AR (criminals have a low rate of adhering to the laws, incase ya'll didn't know), me and my family are fucked? You might as well be blowing kisses at an intruder with an AR.

God damn, I think I need to have an AR handy.

I'm not a fan of Steven Crowder but he did a great segment on the top 5 myths about the AR 15.

Started ordering the parts for my completely over-the-top .458 SOCOM AR build. Not because I necessarily need it, but because I can.

Liberals think the .223/5.56 round is scary...

SOCOM 2 and 3 were such great games.

Also, how much are those bullets?

that's crazy
would you be able to put through ton of rounds without any problem?
Depends on the shooter. I can shoot one with little issue. May be a little sore in the shoulder the next day.

cost per round? I guess $1.25

and I bet it has some recoil to it....5.56/.223 has barely any felt recoil in my experience if rifle is heavy enough
Depends on type and manufacture, but you’re looking at around $2+ per round.

I can’t imagine the hole a hollow point 11.63mm round would leave in someone.
People forget/don't realize that the standard AR15 round (5.56mm/.223) was designed to not kill people rather than the other way around.

Here's this should you or anyone be interested.

the guy in that video that he's talking about committed a felony when he cut his AR.
He didn't render the receiver non-functional, so he actually made a Short-Barrel Rifle.
Which is REALLY illegal.

that's not really true.
a smaller, lighter round was used so that ground troops could carry more ammo and use suppressive fire to frag/artillery/CAS a cover/concealed enemy. It was also a round which could be integrated on a modular platform, so tankers/infantry/REMFs could all carry the same round.

Definitely makes sense from a logistical stand point, and certainly possible I was given misinformation. I'd still rather be shot with a 5.56 than just about anything else.
