Had to pick this up. Never heard of ipa style lager, but i do love me some ipa and do love me some lager. It is an extremely hoppy, bitter taste that is quite nice. It doesn't have the hoppy aroma though, which is odd.

Haha I know what you mean. If I knew I wouldn’t hear bitching about it I would probably try to finish a 4 liter jug of the stuff in a day. Sooooo good, but sooooo hard on the guts.

How is Delirium? In comparison to the Chouffes for instance?
I like duvel,gulden draak and chimay(blue,red,white) better. both the tripel hops duvel and regular
I dont get the hype with delirium.
la chouffes might be a bit more bitter but some people like that.
Love all of those. A taste of home (kind of). Duvel is my favorite and actually available here.
I never took the plunge, I won't bother now. So many more to try if it's not all that good. And for a not all that good beer, it's not cheap either.
Rogue in SF went up in smoke the other day, such a shame.
I'm doing well here, so many cool breweries, went to a new one on Saturday and there's another really cool one opening in a couple of weeks.
It was Amsterdam I got my love of La Chouffe from, there's a possibility it's my favourite beer of all time. Toss up between that and one from Norfolk.
blue gatorade
This is a double ipa and it smells amazing, like grapefruit citrus, and the taste is awesome. Never heard of it before today, but I picked it up to read the packaging and a random dude said "nice choice," so I just took it. Maybe it was a sales rep for the company, but I don't care.
