people are acting like a UFC can't promote Askren. The guy is a 2-time NCAA wrestling champ, holds the single-season record for pins, competed at the Olympics, and is the 18-0 OneFC Champion.

With a competitive athletic resume like that, surely he can throw something at a bus.

And one of the biggest fights in UFC history was GSP vs Shields, who had only one fight in the UFC, which sucked and Shields deserved to lose, - and Shields wasn't undefeated, so they didn't have that angle either. It would be very easy for the UFC to market this fight.
