That was the right call, the ref was bad. 1st he was KO'd by the hit, then he was being choked to death he didn't even know where he was half the time if not more. Those are one of the fights that could have been very very dangerous.
an immigrant would have raped him and sold him drugs but not all of them do that a few I assume are good.
