It's a middle of the road bourbon - not a cheap bottle, but not super high end. Think I paid about $40. Solid bottle, very easy to drink.
I'm sippin' tonight, with an ice cube.
Unless it has a mixer of some sort I can’t get on with bourbon or whisky with ice, not sure why.
Had to Google black Manhattan but I'm good with a chilled Old Fashioned. I just prefer whisky/whiskey at room temperature if it's neat.

Not in a beer mood so I really don't know for tonight. Been a while since I had a JD night.
I'm all for supporting local breweries (I'm in Austin)...but I'm not the biggest fan of their beer. Not horrible by any means, it's just not something I crave or tend to reach for.
Nice brew for a small brewery in my Birth City.
Taste is so so.
A sweet taste of floral and citrus with a slight bitterness after tone.
Not bad.
Better that my usaul woosy Michelob Ultra lol.

I'm more of a bourbon guy, but I like scotch too. I'm not the biggest fan of the super ultra peaty medicinal tasting ones, but there's a lot of scotch I've tried and liked. I've got a bottle of Oban in the cabinet.
Great beer.
Also great mixed with Guunness. Black Barrell.
