Eating less meat is better for the planet hands down. They might not be 100 percent free of negative impact on the planet but if they want to do their part and contribute less to negative effects then it's a welcomed balance.I lol @ vegans because there is almost a 0% chance that 100% of their consumption is vegan. Animal byproduct is in shit that no one would ever think of.
Plus they all have phones, are wearing commercially available clothing etc etc the list goes on that are all made in countries with next to no labour laws
They are kind of have this extreme idea that all purposeful breeding of animals is wrong and leads to over population and many becoming neglected, which is true ~There's levels. The high end of PETA think all pets should be euthanized because it's better than being "owned".
What's wrong with the conscious decision to consume less though? With the population and demand for meat increasing, why does it make you so mad that there are a group of people out there who are choosing to tax the environment less through their food changes? Is it because they are preachy wanting others to join them and you feel defensive about it? What they're doing isn't a bad thing.Leather:
Shoe
Wallets
Steering wheels
Seats (maybe not in their cars, they look pretty broke)
Gloves for their bicycles
Straps for their burkenstocks
What are they feeding their cats (they look like cat people)? Cats will go into seizures and die with vegan diets. Apparently it's ok to kill animals for cat food?
Animals can make people feel intense emotions. Some of you may only entertain such emotions with your dog or cat but think pigs chickens or cows should be devoid of the same ability but some people feel emotional about those other kinds of animals and react emotionally to seeing them harmed.I can respect their decision. I even admire it.
But this kind of shit is stupid.
I am very balanced in these discussions. I see it from both angles as someone who produces food and someone who can see the pluses and minuses of the debate. I really don't understand why people get so angry at seeing these vegans get upset. It's akin to seeing Americans crying about Yulin but then cheering when farm animals go to the slaughterhouse. If these people get emotional about food animals being killed, let them alone with their choice not to eat them.
@vutu, ladies and gentlemen. Never going to bite on this shit, chief. What's wrong with the conscious decision to consume less though? Be more subtle and you may get a bite or two.I am very balanced in these discussions. You probably have nothing to add.@vutu, ladies and gentlemen. Never going to bite on this shit, chief.
Bro, respond to someone that is a new member who doesn't knkw who you used to be. Best bet to get a reaction. You probably have nothing to add.
Just because we all use animal products in some way what does that have to do with someone who chooses to drastically reduce their dependence on it? It's a fools argument to criticize something simply because you wouldn't do it.
I'm not the one insulting people because they make different choices from me.Bro, respond to someone that is a new member who doesn't knkw who you used to be. Best bet to get a reaction.
Get your unemployed ass out of the way while a man trying to earn a living is driving a 40 ton vehicle at you.So that warrants running people over? It just proves what these vegans say about an industry that poorly treats it's workers that they don't even care about people. Truck driver should be charged.
You become a tryhard when you made back to back posts without a response. Your original response made me laugh but you couldnt just let it simmer until you got a response. Because of that you get a 5/10 but it could have been much higher.I am very balanced in these discussions. I once went vegan for 6 months trying to get a girl. I failed. The 19 year old chick I had some happy happy fun time with was vegan. She still had a great ass.
Only because people aren't held accountable for their actions. All of those statements you made also apply to humans. They are kind of have this extreme idea that all purposeful breeding of animals is wrong and leads to over population and many becoming neglected, which is true
Yes it's wrong but say I have a business that hurts people's feelings. Like say I manufacture grenades or clear cut forests. If I am doing things legally and supplying a product people want and need yes that is my right but I should expect some people are going to be upset about it right or wrong. It's pretty reasonable to assume that some people are going to get upset with a slaughterhouse.Get your unemployed ass out of the way while a man trying to earn a living is driving a 40 ton vehicle at you.
Not trying hard or trying to make anyone simmer. You become a tryhard when you made back to back posts without a response. Your original response made me laugh but you couldnt just let it simmer until you got a response. Because of that you get a 5/10 but it could have been much higher.
You just wasted your time trying to get me to read any of that. Not trying hard or trying to make anyone simmer.
I respect that if we are honest with ourselves most of us cannot be vegan. Meat and using animals has just been apart of our human lives that it would seem like something missing to try and stop. Admittedly I think I can try to make my blueprint very small but I wouldn't be able to omit animals completely. That's why i welcome people who can. We really cannot support the whole of civilization consuming as much meat per person as we currently do and only thanks to poverty many cannot afford to right now. If there are people who can skip out then it's actually a good thing for everyone who eats meat. Too much demand is going to make animals bigger and more animals per sq space and that can increase problems such as disease and animal welfare. You should be happy that there are people willingly not increasing the demand for the commodity that you want at a good clean price.
I can't defend their ideas, I was only helping you explain them.Only because people aren't held accountable for their actions. All of those statements you made also apply to humans.
You're also ignoring the point I originally made which has nothing to do with breeding.
