'Heck of a main event'?
Uh, this was on the prelims of a standard PPV when they did it last year. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with it, but let's calm the fuck down Okamoto.
Also, the tweet only says that the UFC wants to make this fight. Alvarez has been reluctant to do this rematch, so we can't really be that confident it will happen anyway.
It's a fuk of a lot better than the WMMA they were targeting for the main event. Fingers crossed.

No wmma main events unless its a title fight or #1 contender. I hate seeing girls that are 4-2 on the main card when 20+ fight vets are on fightpass
Also i want poirier alvarez to be 5 rounds to settle that shit. I think dustin takes it late with a tko

That's true, and it's why I didn't say it wasn't a worthy Big Fox main event. But it's only just worthy - it's still only the 4th or 5th guy in the division vs the 5th or 6th (Conor, Khabib, Tony and possibly Kevin Lee above). That's not a 'heck' of a main event on a platform that has had title fights and plenty of no. 1 contender fights.
And it's not even happening by the looks of things.
That's true, I guess they figure it's main event worthy because it's gauranteed fireworks. Not a bad card though for a Canadian show, they've got Aldo and Joanna on there, if they can just hook a good main event it'd be well worth going to.
