My son made pretzel dogs (and a few wrapped in bacon) for us tonight for supper tonight.

They were pretty good.
Awesome : )

How old is he again?

I've just fried off some onions which are chilling in the fridge before making some meatballs. Flippin shop didn't have any fresh basil so I had to just pick up fresh parsley and oregano. No veal either but I'm cool with just ground beef and pork.

He’s ten. He cooks for us now and again since he took that cooking class.

Wtf is a pretzel dog? It looks like Satan's nightmares.
It’s a hot dog wrapped in pretzel dough then covered in egg, salt and butter and baked till they are a pretzel like consistency.

They could look better but they taste quite good, especially the bacon wrapped ones.

I'd totally eat them, unsure of nutritional value tho.

I don't know much about school now obviously but I think home economics should still be part of the curriculum. So many people leave education and can barely heat up ramen. I know my dad was a chef but I think from a nutrition point of view, it's really important to know your way around a kichen.

I've been thinking about making a peach gazpacho for a few years. Using both fresh and canned peaches, canned for the syrupy shit they're canned in for texture. Top the bowl with a spicy pepper crema and fresh off the grill grilled peach wedges. Maybe some fresh cilantro. I think it would work.

WTF yourself forum slut. You dont think that my peach gazpacho sounds good? You have cold creamy soup, hot peaches wedges, spicy crema. I think it would be delicious.
