It’s okay if Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Tyron Woodley calls out Nate Diaz, but if former 170-pound titleholder Georges St-Pierre does it, then it’s the biggest bitch move on the planet

That’s because St-Pierre was so afraid of “The Chosen One” he actually changed weight classes in an effort to keep his name relevant by taking the path of least resistance. Now “Rush” appears to be on the cusp of doing it once again, much to the chagrin of Woodley.

From his conversation with TMZ (via BJPenn.com):

“Let me say this in a very educated way: I think that those two guys ‘contemplating’ fighting is the hugest bitch move on the planet. If you're going to be welterweight champion of the world and the lineal champion and you got the current champion constantly talking about fighting you, not only do you avoid fighting him and go up a weight class, now you're gonna drop underneath him and fight underneath in a weight class that you’ve never fought in in your life.”

So.... Tyron not engaging Wonderboy or Maia to avoid the threat of losing is not a bitch move, but the arguable GOAT with nothing to prove wanting to go to LW to make history (probably not even giving a single thought to your sensitive, self-entitled ass) is a bitch move?

What was moving up in weight to challenge for (and winning) the title after a several year layoff?

I can't blame the guy for wanting a big name to boost his own paycheck. What gets my goat is how he twists every single thing into some slight against him personally so he can play the victim.

Meanwhile, the WW division is on hold because he waited five months after his last fight to get a damn surgery with a nice long recovery time on top of it.

Oh cry me a fucking river.

You’re supposed to be an “ultimate fighter” for crying out loud, quit throwing your toys out of your pram and get on with your job.

I think he has a point about GSP, but Nate's a lightweight. That's the division he's ranked in, and it's also where the most interesting matchups are for him in 2018, if he actually plans on returning.

“If” being the operative word.
If he doesn’t plan on coming back he needs to belt up.

I don't care if it's a bitch move, I just don't want to see GSP at LW. He's bigger than he ever was at WW so a cut would be difficult i he doesn't take it over a looooong time

I dont think GSP cares what Woodley thinks. Ive never heard a champion bitch so much. He is a phenomenal fighter but as soon as he pulled the race card i was done. With that being said I honestly believe he beats GSP. He isnt ducking Woodley. I think he is going for 3 belts

I was thinking that too, but I wonder if he may have gotten a jumpstart with the colitis?

I'm not so sure that it would be that difficult.

I think that with his colitis issues that he's probably already dropped some of that weight/mass. If he's back down to his previous range then I don't think it's too far out of the realm for him to drop to 155 where he and Firas have mentioned that he could go to at any point.

To be fair, I don't think GSP can beat him at this stage but ffs, Woodley himself had tried and angled for a fight with Nate earlier...so what's his problem now that someone else may do it?
