it throws gravel like 50 ft. its usually used for back filling basements.it worked great . i was over there today and there is a solid wall maybe 3 ft high and 20 ft long from that thing. the whole idea was to not let water get over the berm in the first place but that failed and we had to just patch it up best we could and pump it out.
OK...I just didn't know if gravel slowed the flow enough

I know those trucks...I used to order 30 a day on some jobs to sling dirt, rock, and all types of shit

If I was close I would give you some of my pumps that just sit around...got 3-4 230/Gallon a minute-high pressure pumps sitting around here(bought out a yard sale of my old company)

Is water back down? did some river crest or something?

its actually a fairly small creek. i was there today and it has probably dropped 6 vertical feet . it was really just a freak of nature flood. i lived on the other side of that farm for many years and it never flooded but last year and this year it flooded like a mfer. the whole city got hit hard for a couple days.it was a 200%+ snowpack and a rapid melt .just the perfect conditions

I've seen these things on drives to Chicago, but there's a section on I70 in Kansas that has a ton of them.

I looked it up, they use the wind and generate enough electricity to power 37,000 homes in Kansas.

Which based on what I've seen so far, that's pretty much every home in Kansas.

I'm so fucking bored.

they cover certain parts of the washington side of Columbia River Gorge...I hear they take out tons of hawks, eagles, and birds
